Optomist1, Qualification is a very subjective subject, that would very depend who create the qualification process and who conduct the qualification process. Supplier could be qualify by standard of that time.

Hi Evelyn 7E, I guess my point is unless the Supplier Qualification process is concise, measurable and has accountability, pushing the supplier to ship specs parts on time etc., is at best a crap shoot. The Supplier Qualification process (esp. Automotive & Aero) must be clear and unambiguous...hope this helps
