Re: Ready for World Cup kick off?????? June 2010
No offence to you Jerry but media quotes like that really wind me up. What do international results have to do with what the players earn at their clubs? That article is nonsense, especially as Rooney is the hardest working and most honest (in terms of absolute commitment on the pitch) in the current England squad. He gets his salary because he is one of the best footballers in the world but he can't carry the entire England team on his own (as he did for Man United for much last season). That England drew with the USA is not Rooney's fault - it pains me to say it but, primarily, the finger should be pointed at Capello. But it isn't the end of the world - here's hoping he makes amends on Friday.
Hey Migre, no problem at all, you have your point.
Maybe Capello shouldn't be blamed as well. The squad did their best, but this is football game...... so...... things happen. As you say, it's just the first game, anything could happen in World cup. Once world cup was lifted by the hand of god...........

But i think the beauty about world cup is, it brings all nation together.
Even north korea is in the game this year
I really looking forward for North Korea vs Brazil tonight. They are just so Mysterious
