Hello, my name is Hewitt Gaudin. I am the Lab/QA Manager coordinating ISO/TS 16949 program. I work for Ineos Fluor America's in St. Gabriel Louisiana, which produces refrigerant R134a. My previous industry experience involved PVC production. I have worked in the Quality Area for the past 15 years. I also coordinate laboratory activities.
My pet peeve in quality is getting feedback, signatures, approvals from automotive buyers to satisfy their requirements.
Changing the world of quality: I would like to see customer specific requirements which have traditionally been instituted for parts , adapted to bulk chemicals or given specific waivers in their documentation.

Glad to finally registered, I've looked into the threads and have been a great help in developing our ISO 9001:2000 documentation.

Situated over here is Hollywood North (that would be TORONTO, CANADA). Just 2 hours north from Buffalo New York for the geograpically challenged.

Looking forward to discuss and able to contribute.

Don't let the fancy title fool you! I'm just a Quality Technician with an affinity for computers and writing work instructions. I've been involved with ISO since 1994 and authored most of the work insturctions for the Inspection Group. I also co-designed the Access database we use to record the data we collect. I came here because we could see the handwriting on the wall with GM and DCX's QSB program and found this site during a search. I like what I see and decided to stick around for a while.
