6. Hot temper that kills my sense of caring to my beloved one.
7. Quality management is just some sorts of documentations with no practical implementation.
8. I would robotize all the process flow. Eliminate human error.

3. working in a manufacturing plant of Small gasoline engine.

6. I learned things fast and like I have an engine inside me driving me to learn new things and get improvement
7. same issue all SQEs have, how to get consistent buy parts
8. I am not sure. so long road ahead of me and vendors...:-(

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and thought I would introduce myself.

4. MEMSense in Rapid City, South Dakota
5. 1 year
6. I don't know if this is really a pet peeve of quality but the fact that I get little input from some departments in the company is getting ISO taken care of.
8. Haven't been involved long enough to know what to change.

As I'm reviewing some of the threads I've learned a lot and hopefully will continue to learn from you all everday! Thanks in advance!:thanks:

Hi Folks!
My name is Michael Darby and I am a senior level executive search consultant (okay 'recruiter'....sometimes known as a 'headhunter'), I work primarily on a retained basis and tend to take on clients who are globally positioned, mostly in light industrial manufacturing, but have been recently indoctrinated into the world of Medical Devices.
Occasionally, I may need to post an active and bona fide position- I do not phish!
Home for me is beautiful Vancouver, Washington USA-just outside Portland and my clients tend to be in areas of the US OUTSIDE of the pacific northwest. Its just the way it is!

Hi. Just registered. In the thread, someone said the best QA folks have scar tissue from ops. I must be a good candidate for the best. Have a Chemical Engineering background working since the 70's in manufacturing glass, paper, coating, pigments, chemical testing equipment, and now medical testing equipment. I've been listed among the best in technical customer service and technical sales, but what I know about quality has been in bits and pieces. That said, I have a lot to learn. My current job in a small company includes a BIG chunk of quality. I want to put it together and fill the gaps.
