and some duties within process control/product developement.

Something special; Well I look at quality Assurance as a career change. most people here regard it as a pain in the but, an clerical job, or something you 'get' stuck with or fall into. So I am here really to learn how to be a quality professional and not so much just a chemist.
Quality pet peeve: excessive documentation/ forms. Some consider this to be the epitomy of what quality is.
Deming never said we should be drafting forms on how often the bathroom is checked! So how do you convey to others that quality isn't just about a million procedures and 900,000 forms???
Changeing the way that quality world works. Quality would be making your process work efficiently. flat. recent experiences with the new buzzwords of business; six sigma, JIT, validation are negative.
why do so many of these things turn out to be games or superficial??
