Hi,
I am a safety professional working with an EPC co. as HSE manager on one of its project.
I have fifteen years cross functional experience on HSE mgt system, project management and maintenance.
I stumbled on this web page while searching for information on OHSAS 18000 series.
I noticed that this forum enables people to share views and thoughts on issues with the aim of suggesting path forward.
I look forward contributing towards continuous success of this forum while benefiting from everybody's wealth of experience.

First time to say Hello and introduce myself
1. My name is Eric Ng.
2. Age 66
3. Sex Male
4. Married with two children
5. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Curtin University, Western Australia
6. Work in Quality field all my life in Standard organization in Singapore and Texas Instruments Malaysia.
7. Frelance quality consulting and training after retired.
8. Past 7 years as Quality Assurance Manager at Advance Modules Malaysia, a local memory modules manufacturing plant. Help establish quality control and management system in Shanghai plant. The plants are certified to ISO 9001:2000.
9. Finally retired for the second and last time in April 2007.
10. Have fully utilized all the resources available in Elsmar Clove website during my consulting/traning and second working life.
11. Specialized in Quality Improvement Tools and Methodology ( SPC, FMEA, DOE & Taguchi Methods, Seven Basic QC Tools , QFD, and DFSS)

I do hope to participate in the forum discussion in the near future.

Thanks all those who contribute all those valuable materials in forum, which I always rely on to obtain the latest information in quality management and improvement tools.

8. I would stress the importance of proactive measures over reactive measures, ie take care of the health of the company and not do business solely on a "putting out the fires" mentality

Hi all would like to reintroduce myself.:bigwave:
My name is Mary P.
I am the quality manager for a company in Carmel, Indiana of the USA named Accu-Turn LLC which is a grinding and turning shop. I also help our sister compay named Ten Point Trim which is a roll forming company.
I have been working in machine shops for approximately 30 years. My companies are ISO9001-2000 certified and I am a Yellow belt six sigma.
My goal is to be a master belt six sigma.
My company is very small at the present time. However, we have all learned that living ISO everyday makes everyones' job so much easier.
