I am Sunil Jaglan
I am working as Quality Assurance Manager
I am working in a auto firm at Rohtak, Haryana, India
I am working in this function for the last three years
I always enjoy my work while working with colleagues & seniors
For me working on SPC is my favorite

Six years in QA, after nearly 20 years in Operations functions
Have a sole proprietorship for interior decorating and specialty paint finishes
Pet peeve: "lip service" to QS rather than a corporate culture imbued with it

If I could change anything about quality systems, it would be to have guidances or models with a bit more detail--if I never again have to answer the question "show me where it says that in the reg's", I would be a happy camper. Others might disagree, but I think the QS function has enough difficulties with its role of "responsibility but no authority" without having to justify the "industry standards" aspect of the function.

I couldn't agree more with your opinion.
I like your statement about having guidanes or models with a bit more detail. I'm considering writing some, at least for the industry I'm associated with.

Hello, my name is Andrea Hall. I am a Quality Manager in the semiconductor industry. I have also worked in the plastics and class ring industry also in a quality role. I current work for a company called AIT and we manufacture gasline plumbing for semiconductor fabs. I have been here for 3 years. I have been in the quality field for 13 years 10 of which have been in management. I went back to school in 2004, part time, have worked full time and have 3 children...I will be graduating May 9!!! My biggest peave in quality is when production people think that product quality is my job and I will fix it rather than them actually assessing the process to fix the issues. that is about it. this is a great forum, I am glad I found it.

3. Small Diagnostics company in San Diego, CA.
4. I may be a sadist. I enjoy failing things.
5. I'm new to quality and I want to learn more about it! My pet peeve, and it may be because of my lack of experience, is all the paperwork I have to do! I really hope to learn a lot about ISO and FDA requirements to make my company more efficient.

So I hope everyone is patient with my questions. They may be really dumb.
