5. Spent about 6 months in quality at this company.
6. I've always been an original thinker!
7. The world of quality, and especially the more "popular" standards such as ISO 9000, seems designed for high volume manufacturing.
8. If I could change the world of quality, I would stop its' massive focus on large volume manufacturing and make it more amenable to the construction industry and service industries. Reliability, in particular, could be used to great effect in the industry I currently work in.

Oh boy :D If you have the one and only true answer then please start a thread. I promise to be an attentive student ;)

Seriously, let me know which thread to go to if you either find one already suitable, or start a new one. I think I've seen dozens of good definitions of "quality" but none I'd say was "The One".
