4) Length of time in quality: From the beginning 2yrs applying for ISO, 8 years as a buyer before that.
5) Company located: Northamptonshire UK
6) Something personal? Like the countryside to get away from it all, at the top of a mountain
7) My pet peeve in quality? That it seems vast-subjective-at times not logical.
8) If I could change the world of quality it would be? To train youngsters, have/develop a rough guide which I hope to do or find one and make it free.

Eric if I bump into you along life’s highway it would be a miracle, and I would have to buy you a drink. Great site

My name is drasweet. I work for a medical device company as a Quality Assurance Manager. I have found this site very useful in the past. I use it alot for research and implementation ideas. I have been working for medical device companies for about 15 years.

1. HI, I am Bill Meyers
2. I am in a 30 person company and like many other's, I have the responsibility for our QMS while also am Director of Manufacturing and am in charge of Process Engineering (actually I am the only one at this time)
3. I work for a Contract Electronics Manufacturer
4. I work for Argo Transdata in Clinton, Connecticut
5. I have been our only Quality Assurance guy since we decided to go for ISO in 2001
6. While I am sure it holds true for most anyone associated with this web site, I am always looking for something that can help in any situation and am happy to go out and learn about new things
7. My pet peeve is quality is considered the sanitation engineering of problems and not something to get excited about

I am happy to find so many knowledgeable individuals happy to help we the less fortunate solve our QMS problems. Thanks for the web site.
