Hello,
I am
Hamid Nasir here pleased to introduce myself.
Working as Software Engineer since 2 years
private organization Elixir Technologies pakistan
New to Quality management, did some courses recently and interested in research.

Our IT industry is relitively new and striving hard for quality, a journey which started in recent past and a long way to go.

I don't think quality and quality management is the problem in China. It's more that the (foreign) customers expect a Boeing 747 and only wants to pay for a bike. Many suppliers in any country will supply poor quality if the price isn't reasonable.

There is a thread on outsourcing you may want to look at :D

3. 30 years in US Marine Corps Aviation, Avionics Systems and full systems inspector. Now working for a company that is a FAA Certificated Repair Station specializing in Aviation Life Support Systems. We inspect, service and repair seatbelts, life rafts, slides, cargo nets.
4. Thornton Technology Corporation, San Marcos, California.
5. 28 years as a quality inspector in Marine Corps Aviation and 3.5 years at this company.
6. 30 year Marine Corps Career???
7. Overlapping quality standards.
8. Have all customers use the same quality standard system.

Note: I discovered this site while researching required technical information. I utilize all possible resources to locate needed information.

I have been a frequent visitor 2 years back and I wish to renew my ties with Elsmar Group (I am serious!):

Job: QMS/EMS consultant/auditor; worked for 25 years with Bureau of Indian Standards, national standardization body of India till 2000.Experience in QMS has been for over 19 years.
Industry: freelancer now
Pet peeve: Worried about consultancy provided by incompetent consultants and consequent failure of clients to draw fully out of ISO 9001 implementation.
Change: I would like to assist a few genuine clients in implementing QMS so that they appreciate the benefits and as a result, QMS ceases to be the punching bag!

Hi All,

I am Angela and I've been thru some stuff here and think it's great.

My experience in Quality Audits is quiet minimal. Was part of an audit team in my last employment about 6 sixs ago.

I have a new job as Quality Audit Manager. Entirely new brief from what I've been doing before now which was Project Managing in IT firm.

I'll be needing lots of help from folks here to get started.

Is it? :notme: Everybody knows what it is. It's just that no two people share exactly the same opinion :frust:
I think quality often gets confused with "perfection".
