I hope every one is havining it easy in convincing managment that quality does contribute to profit in the bottom line, it is cost effective to find deffective product in house than at the customer, also a happy customer is a good promoter for your product an your company.

BS (Before Sylvania) I worked for 8.5 years as a Senior Quality Lead Technician, Six Sigma Black Belt; Just started at OSRAM, got alot of ribbing for going into production, it has been a real learning experience;perfect job while working on my Masters

Besides my obsession with Boston Terriers, the artist in me really helps when developing training solutions and moderating meetings. Passion and humor really help inspire others

7. Your pet peeve in quality

That people still do not get that you cannot INSPECT quality into a product!

8. If you could change the world of quality, what would you do?

Focus more on capturing the practices of shop floor personnel, improving the communication and relationship between quality and administration.

I love my job and my family. My hobby is model railways and i relax listening music.

Many companies start Quality Systems as a very useful thing, but after one year they became also paper to be shown to Customers and Certification Bodies

To make every dept. involved in the system of its company.
