We are in the middle of 'winter' here. About 10 deg.C tonight. In Pune temperatures go down to about 5 - 6 C. (Summer highest being 42 C) Obviously, no question of snowfall !

Ok... Very wet here. About 0 C here, We've seen both rain and snow today. The ground is covered in a thin layer of wet snow, and we had lots of traffic accidents last night. More than we've had for a long time. In other words: Pretty awful weather.

P.s. Hey there Marc. Looking very chipper for someone who just fought the flu off... :bigwave:

Didn't get the picture early enough to show the snow but we got about 1/2". Thought I would throw in some Christmas cheer with the lights for you all.

Hi All,

It's summer time here in Queensland, Australia and what we generally call the 'Wet' season (or rainy season). We have been in drought for the last few years but we have had drought breaking rains for the last couple of weeks. So it should be a good Christmas except I'll have to dust off the Tractor and Lawn tractor or invest in some goats and sheep to keep the grass down. It's 30 degrees celsius at the moment (0957 Hrs) with an expected top of 33 degrees, so it will be pretty hot and muggy today and we will probably get a thunderstorm this afternoon to cool it all down. My photos are from out the back door this morning and you should be able to see one of my Mango trees (I've got 15) just getting ready to pick.

PS. I just used MS Office Picture Manager 2000 to 'Compress' & 'Crop' both of the photos from over 690KB to around 20KB each. Cool Tool.

Greg, you are very lucky to live in such a beautiful green place!! My camera ate it at the sand dunes during Thanksgiving and I am hoping to get one for Christmas! I live here in the desert, the brown, dry, desert, it is about 65F thats the day time high. I would love to see Sweden also, bad weather is beautiful to me!

Oh bother

Marc,

I see green stuff in your picture. What's up with that? It's all white outside! Did you see the Jets game on TV...were 400 miles from there, but looks about the same. We're at 12 inches with another 4-7 overnite. I'll work on a photo. (By the way, that's after about 5 inches Friday night.)

Snow blowed/shoveled 2X today, roads are covered, winter in Roch, NY!

From the local "road cam" on the web.

In Orlando today it rained, but I was inside and it didn't matter. The wife said we had ice in Arkansas. Rain is better than ice for sure.

Yeah - you folks have gotten a lot of snow up there - I've seen on the news. It was 31 degrees here near Cincy today so roads are clear - no ice or anything. It's 30 degrees out right now and no wind.
