Snow fight!

Update: We have snow. Tons of it: It's been snowing hard for 24 hours, and I had to use considerable force to get the door open this morning :vfunny: . Everyone was showelling snow for hours yesterday.

In the end we grew weary of that, and a spontaneous snowball fight quickly escalated to full scale snow war with large parts of the entire neighbourhood mixed up. Great fun, but a bit cold if I may say so  Among other things I missed my next door neighbour with a poorly aimed snowball, hit the roof instead and caused most of the snow on it to slide down on top of him. I nearly buried the poor bloke, but he soon recovered and retaliated.

Poorly aimed? I'll bet that was the single most effective snowball thrown in the whole snow war! Leave it to a quality guy to leverage the effectiveness of a single snowball. Good job! :bigwave:

Nice one Claes!

We got another fairly decent round of snow here yesterday afternoon/evening, with about 3 inches on the ground right now. I wish I had a digital camera with me right now - it's beautiful with the mountains and trees all covered in snow and the sun coming up...

Here's an update for December 26th. We've had snow falling here all day long, and I just measured 12" in the back yard! And it's still coming down...

Looks gorgeous - although I'm not a fan of 9 degrees.

Here in the snow belt we are looking at green grass, all the previous snow has melted. In the 30's with no snow in sight. Hoped to ski tomorrow, but it doesn't look good.

Happy 2004 - some of you are already there!

Roch NY - Jan 3rd, they just showed golfers out in 50+ weather on the news. January 4th it has dropped to 30, and by Wednesday - single digits. By the looks of the snow that is on its way tonight, the kids may have an extended Christmas break.

It's down to 40 here today and raining on and off. A few times today it has become so dark that the photocells kicked in the outside lighting...

I have a little fire going so it's pretty comfortable inside.
