-5 Here, chance of sun on Saturday
Hope you warm up soon (right!! ). I'll be flying into Buffalo on Sunday, the 25th, for a visit to a GM Plant in Tonawanda. Pretty tight schedule on Monday (fly back to Flint, MI at 3:30 pm), but my next trip (March?) will have me in Rochester (Valeo). Should warm up by then, huh? I just love traveling in January and February :ko:

Looks like after we get out of this deep freeze we're stuck in the 20's for awhile. It's actually quite beautiful outside with all the snow, but it's just too darn cold to go out hiking or skiing. I'm sure the die-hards are skiing, but when its -25 wind chill, there isn't enough clothing in the world to keep me warm on a ski slope. They had a 5 minute list of accidents, back ups and cars off the road just now. People aren't realizing that its black ice where it looks like dry pavement.

Well, it was -8 degrees F here a day ago. Brrrr...

Never saw a red fox in the wild before this close...

Full video (the attached is a compressed 'mini' of mediocre quality) is at:

Be warned: 110 megabyte file... I haven't figured out how to make a full video file 'stream' (display as it downloads). 110 megabytes takes a while to download.

Its official

Rochester had the snowiest January ever, and the 2nd snowiest month since they've been keeping track of such things. I have some pics of the deck with kids and dogs to upload. Let's hope the groundhog doesn't know what he's talking about!

Pretty neat. I had to do a quick update to our version of "Quick Time" to view it, but the audio and video quality is quite good. 1.06 mb....;)

The BIG file (110+ megabytes) is really clear. In the 'little' one you can hardly see the bird... What a difference ~109 megabytes makes.

I think it's a red tailed hawk. Not sure though.

It is 42 degrees out today here...
