hi all,
recently i need to calibrate a roll of 50m thermocouple type K. so i cut the front and the back and send for calibration.
so if i want to find the inhomogeneity of the thermocouple, is it correct for me to take the front reading - back reading?
for eg.
when i calibrate at 200°C, the front reading is 199.5°C and the back reading is 199.2°C.
so inhomogeneity = 199.5-199.2=0.3
is this method correct?
regards
