Since the basis of these standards is ISO9001 the system can be integrated. So why can't the registrar audit the IMS with different auditors for the specified disciplines, one auditor for ISO 14001 and one auditor for ISO/IATF? I need some understanding....please help
There should be no objections from a Registrar to audit subsets of an organization business management system. Some of the concerns and protocols are described in the
IAF MD 11 document. So, if the registrar says no, you should ask WHERE is THE SHALL that prohibits them from doing what is the right thing.
Obviously the IATF 16949 is not an ISO standard and there are very prescriptive requirements for the planning, performance and reporting audits to that standard. But any CB that blatantly refuses from auditing an Integrated Management System should be NAMED AND SHAMED for a huge disservice to Business and Society at large; especially when we know that ISO MSS's all share a requirement that the requirements in the standard should be embedded in the organization's business processes.
Hi Sidney,
Just sayin, I got these 2 before I got my BBA both are in Quality Systems Technology, There are some programs out there, my BBA major studis were in Quality Management Systems.
I explicitly stated a MBA syllabus. I repeat: I have never seen a well recognized MBA program that has a quality management component in their syllabus. How many CQO's exist in the business world? Just to show that, in my opinion, these are just indicators of how low quality management is perceived in the business world.
