Mitch,
You say you have been
I am therefore presuming that the client has already made the decision to do this, and now wants you to execute it?
That being so, it might be a bit tricky to go back and say, hey, there's plenty of opinions that this stuff doesn't work?

It's sort of like that...but here is what we are 'testing out'...
i spoke to ev eryone from management at the Steercom Meeting, and then i invited the operators to come and have their say, and to discuss criteria.
We came to an agreement that TPM is a team effort, so rewarding one person may not be the best idea, so we are going to award a TPM award to the best team of the month. We had a problem here, as not all operators form part of a pillar team, so we said that any Pillar team, the workshop team, the Pilot Area 1 Team, Pilot Area 2 Team and Pilot Area 3 Team can become the team of the month. They will be judged on Meetings Held, Attendance %, OPL's, Kaizens and Tags Raised vs Tags Completed. There is a spreadsheet i have created that tallies up the scores, and we can decide from that. Because of this, there will be no favouritism etc, and no fights within groups
. The winning team will get the voucher they won, and go for a lunch or dinner somewhere. What do you guys think?
