Training and Development Procedure - Please Review and Comment

Perhaps I didn't completely understand your process, but it was a little confusing. It might help you to flowchart the process with a process map, so you can see if all the steps make sense. See if you can walk through the various training steps and come to an end point. It was confusing as to when to fill out certain forms.

There were a lot of acronyms. Does your company operate this way? Using the acronyms in everyday speech? It was hard to read because I didn't know the acronyms.

Last comments -- (a) the skills matrix seems to be added almost as an afterthought. It is certainly nice to have one of these, and the auditors like them. It might need to be updated more often than you planned. Will it be a database? (b) can the TEEF be combined with another form? If one form to request training is already filled out, can the form to show effectiveness be combined with the other form? Saves paper and time. You could also add in a spot on that same form to tell HRD to update the skills matrix.
