Training Details - Different Departments - How much needed?

I've come across the training section, and I've got a "Training Requirements Sheet". All the different departments will be putting in what training they do into the forms. But how detailed does it need to be?

Do we have to descrive every step, and exactly what the trainer has to teach the employee, piece-by-piece? Or can you say it in more general terms, such as saying the trainer will show the person how to do something, not necessarily detailing what they will show them.

All training here is done on the job...nobody sits down and takes a test or anything. I know the training requirements are needed, but how much?

I would like more information, please. Is your Training Requirements Sheet an internal document, an ISO element or some other directive? The answer to this question can help me advise the detail to go into.

Briefly, I would think it could list what the training is, the standard/QMS element/document requiring the training, one or two lines briefing of the training's purpose, and noting who (within the structure, no names) would need the training, and how often the training would be held.

We have a form that touches several departments. To clearly distinguish the responsibilities associated with each department, their corresponding fields are colour-coded.

Credit is responsible for yellow fields.
Sales is responsible for blue fields.
Accounting is responsible for green fields.
Etc.

When someone new starts is Sales, the focus is primarily on the blue fields, while the form overal is explained to the individual.

Is this closed - where are we at with this? Curious - I'm benchmarking

No...not closed. What do you mean by 'benchmarking'? I understand the concept of it, but how is applicable to this thread?
