I have recently moved into QM position in a company I have worked for over the past two decades. I can run all of the processes in all of the departments so know how the actual production side of the company works. However the transactional side is something new, the QMS system that is in place passes ISO 9001 however we are looking to transition to AS9100D, the control of our QMS over the past few years as we have had a massive expansion has been in mainly in the hands of an outside consultant. It has been recognised that this is not best practice due to my movement from H/S manager and into this role. Obviously I need training to help familiarise myself to the standards and the way these systems work so getting to the point would anybody recommend a training course regime I could follow we are based in the UK and we have been looking at bsi and nqa as providers but its figuring out what is a good schedule and who are good trainers. Any advice would be appreciated.
