Transferring ISO 17025 from one company to another

Hello,

My company is in the process of buying out a company that has ISO 17025 accreditation. Does anyone know if there ISO accreditation can be transferred to us as well?

take a look at section 5. if you rearrange the organization you would need to have the auditors clear the new organization structure. as it stands right now, the child body has the cert, not the parent. that being said, once the new structure has been approved the new cert will likely list the parent company.
