Refer to Checklist ISO/TS 16949: 2002, IATF expects auditor to audit "Customer Owned Processes (COP). It means beyond defining organization's QMS process needed. Does the organization need to define the COP or do something else to prepare for COP auditing? and What's really COP definition?

"Refer to Checklist ISO/TS 16949: 2002, IATF expects auditor to audit "Customer Owned Processes (COP)."

1- I may hve overlooked the term, specifically what page or paragraph is located on/in?

"It means beyond defining organization's QMS process needed. Does the organization need to define the COP or do something else to prepare for COP auditing?"

2- the method of definng customer oriented processes (COP's) is used ONLY as a guide in understanding and auditing the process approach. It is NOT a requirement to have a list of COP's. The requirement is to define the process,as you see it, to meet the customer requirements.

Caveat; However, some registrars are requireing that you use this approach. If you select a registrar that does, then it will become a requirement.

"and What's really COP definition?"

3- is defined as; the direct inputs from the customer to the organization and the resultant direct outputs from the organization to the customer.
