TS 16949 Clause 6.3.1 and Lean Manufacturing - Any guideline for implementation?

Clause 6.3.1 says "These requirements should focus on lean manufacturing principles and link to effectiveness of QMS"

Is there any guideline for implementation? We are already monitoring Stock turn ratio and work inprogress ratio. Will this satisfy this requirement?

Are you monitoring them or actively trying to improve them?

We have set a target of STR 10 and have an action plan to achieve this which is monitored on a monthly basis.
