Risk Analysis

The way I see it and we perform it here is this: Risk Analysis is performed during the quoting process. What risks are involved if we bid on this quote and receive it? Can we actually meet the requirements of the quote? What equipment investments are required? What raw material investments are required? We came up with a list of questions that we ask ourselves before we bid on each quote. It is very similar to a feasibility review.

Refer to 7.2.2.2 of TS2. The points mentioned by Mike are the same as we evaluate.
One of tools to document this process is the "Turtle Diagram" described in the TS2 auditing classes. There are also examples here in the cove.

Dear SAM
Thanks for reply. I seen that format but I am looking for something that can be quantify like parameters that can be covered in risk analysis FMEA kind of rating etc. We have risk analysis format but it deals with new process development only. I cant able to relate it with rick analysis during contact review . Can u help on this fornt

I suggest a search of this forum. The discussions on "turtle diagrams" offer parameters that should be reviewed. You should be able to put them together in a FMEA format that suits the needs of your company.

We did ours using a slightly modified FMEA format. Was easier carrying the assessment out using it aswell. as for the Severity ratings, youll have to be the judge of them.
