Does anyone know and recommend any usability engineering/human factors course that covers IEC 62366 and FDA requirements?

May want to check out Emergo by UL (I have no affiliation with them). Their UE/HFE team evolved from some major players in that field years ago.

Do you see the marketing teams having an appetite for taking this course? Is there a training that is focused on consumer products and not medical devices?

Human factors / usability is intended to (also) improve customer satisfaction. I guess, though, it depends on the role of your marketing team. If they are rubbing elbows with users and getting their inputs on the user interface / usability, then yeah, I could see benefit in them getting trained on the concepts. If they're just out there "Our product is the best, you'd be an idiot to buy anything else"then probably not.

Don't know. Certainly the concepts are similar. The rigor and implementation may be different with medical devices. Certainly a google search on human factors engineering (or usability engineering) would provide plenty of hits.

Wait a minute, I thought that was the Modus Operandi of all Sales / Marketing professionals. :)

On a more serious note, It's been quite a few years since I took any Human Factors courses (Purdue University), they weren't focused on 'Customer Satisfaction' , they focused on safety (avoid Carpal Tunnel) and productivity. How to design the job to the workers can do it faster. That was 37 years ago so maybe the field has evolved.
