It would also help to specify what tools/techniques you are trying to use. Minitab is good at many, such as Statical Process Control, analysis of process capabilities, doing DOEs, and creating fishbone (Ishikowa) diagrams. It is a not good at identifying and scoping a project, getting management support, or selecting tools.
