VAG Customer Specific Requirements - Product Safety Responsibility

AT this moment we are confronted with VAG CSR's to put a so named Product Safety Responsible in place at each of our location.

By example: He/She must be trained and qualified and need to have product and process knowledge of all items down to 4th TIER level

Beside this CSR, I like to know:
- who of you have the same conditions
- how did you react or organized or refused

In my opinion nobody will have the knowledge which is required.

Of course I understand the reason is probably recalls or other customer related issues which is the trigger for this rule world-wide

the nicest thing is they demand to have intergrate this into your QMS/Manual which means with the new TS 16949 rules the certification bodies will verify your fulfillness level related to CSR's and will write a non conformance than.

nice to find a way to force suppliers :mad:
