Verification of Gages Before Use

I have never seen FRO applied to measuring instruments of any kind. It has always been Indication Only. FRO is for documentation. Where I work the status is calibrated and labeled, limited and labeled, or indication only and labeled. If used for "reference", it is bloody-well calibrated.
