Hi all,
Been thinking about this for a while. Wondering if there is an accepted term or terms for the process of conducting visual inspection whereby the inspector/operator organizes all parts on a table in universal way so they can quickly do a 100% visual inspection for a feature, like say the presence of a nut or a hole.
One person here called it 'tin soldiering', but not sure if that is a widely accepted term or not. Open to thoughts.

Thanks!
