First remember that the AQL is the ACCEPTABLE Quality Level or the defect rate that will be ACCEPTED by your supplier or your incoming inspection 95% of the time when it is present.
You may really want to specify the REJECTABLE Quality level or the defect rate that will be detected and REJECTED 95% of the time when it is present.
YOU should set the level for your supplier. What defect rate is ACCEPTABLE? what defect rate is NOT ACCEPTABLE?
