OOPS....if you claim it as a loss remember not to use the virgin resin price you paid. Use a regrind price. You can easily find a good ballpark number and go with it.

If you can send me a list and the lbs per, I may be able to help. The company is a recycler and make consumer recycled content products from it. They may be able to pick-up on a back haul. As for price, even on a back haul you may only get about 10 Cents on the pound. Send me a pm

What about a low tech use for the scrap? Just because it might not conform to some one's industrial requirement it might work for bean bag chairs, paper weights, etc for some company selling craft kind of products. Or maybe sell it 25# bags on one of the big consumer sites.

Hi

Please consider the cost of storing the rejected material vis-a-vis the expected price for the waste. If the former is high, please give the material even free of cost to the scrap dealer. If you do not know what to do with the waste, there is no point in increasing your inventory by holding on to this waste.

If your country allows the use of this waste in a cement kiln as an added fuel, you can sell these to Cement manufacturers as a fuel.

We used to capstock much of the regrind, it is especially useful in fence and pipe extrusions, but you need a coextruder. All of the material from the Gates Project in NYC Central Park was shipped to Indiana to be capstocked in drainage pipe, the bright orange color would have been good for conduit, but due to teh product requirments there were no UV stabilizers in it, so it could only go inside.
