What is "a router" in ISO/TS 9002 Quality management systems ?

Dear colleagues,
I'm translating Work Draft of ISO 9002 into Russian and found difficulties with understanding following expression:
As another example, in a manufacturing facility, a router, traveller or job card usually follows the work, and the operator signs-off the work performed on the job card.
I guess that "a router" is not a computer device and "traveller" is not a person who travels over the world. Unfortunately none of all dictionaries I used don't give me suitable meanings of these words.
Could you help me?

Re: What is "a router" in ISO WD 9002?

A router is a document that follows the device through production to release.

A router/traveller/job card = same

I hope that helps.

Thank you, J0anne
for your so quick answer. Now I know what it is :)
I think these are specific terms in manufacturing.

Hi Mark!
It's a new "reincarnation" of the standard. Now it will be ISO/TS 9002 Quality management systems - Guidelines for the application of ISO 9001

Re: What is "a router" in ISO WD 9002?

Shows how much I've been paying attention. That they have "recycled" the standard number sorta sucks. Is this going to remain a "TS" (technical standard) or is it eventually going to be ISO 9002, or do you know?

AndyGor - These terms mean the same thing, however, different manufacturers have different terms for things and they can vary a lot and usually still mean the same thing.

I understand your difficulty with this as things can often get lost in translation, due to variations in terms and of course Cyrillics! Good luck.
