What is the definition of a quality manual as seen in the eyes of an auditor?
Should be nothing more than what is said in ISO 9001:2008 clause 4.2.2.
Now many companies can decorate the manual further with more company information and stuff and present the manual is a nice looking way OR make it more informative to the concerned people out of the organization as a company profile. Perhaps some auditors may get a good impression about it and share the information with other company management as a positive aspect (confidentiality maintained)
Do you have a trouble with your manual and auditor ... ?
