Definition What is SCRF?

I received a pre-workshop packet from a Tier 1 customer that among many things refers to SCRF and I have no idea what this is. One section states *window person for SCRF* and the other *SCRF support*. This is a value improvement workshop and was hoping someone could enlighten me.

Jim echoes the advice I have been giving for years, "When in doubt, ask the source!"

That said, many times folks get so used to using an acronym, especially a company-specific one, they no longer know the full phrase which engendered the acronym.

Depending on the Tier 1 OEM and on what your company supplies, two likely candidates for this acronym (given the context) might be
  1. Service Cancellation Request Form
  2. Software Change Request Form

I guess I have this unfounded fear of looking dumb to the customer. As Wes puts it I should not feel that way.

Tight! The trick is not to make the customer look dumb for putting it out there without explanation when you ask for a definition.

You won't look dumb. But even if that was a possibility, you'd look even dumber if you took a guess from any suggestions you might find here and it turned out to be wrong. :D
