LCC => A Life Cycle Cost Analysis is a method of calculating the cost of a system over its entire life span.

Basically, you can buy something cheap and then pay a fortune to keep it in working order, or pay more when you buy it and maybe get away with lower maintenance costs.

I posted a document called LCC Overview in the thread Maintenance FMEA. If you look at that document I believe it will answer you questions.

What are the impacts of Life Cycle Costing to Selling and Marketing?

The question just popped up this morning.

What are the impacts of Life Cycle Costing to Selling and Marketing?

If the marketer or salesperson knows the concepts of life cycle costing, the performance will be better or not? Why? How?

Life Cycle Costing

I think LCC belongs to reliability and this has to be done during the design process itself becos we have to determine the reliability of the product and determine the LCC. I think since reliability also goes in with quality it is better to start a forum for reliability. Can any body suggest to Marc regarding this.
Thanks
