What is the right method to set quality goal? Recently our company drive for 10X improvement which is 68% improvement from Q4'2005 as baseline. Anyone know how does the 10X work out to be 68%? We, QA haven been deliberating on the 68% improvement. I am one of the many that feel 68% is something very tough of us to achieve. However I am very disturb how is 68% come about. I ask myself why not 20%, 30% or 40% but why 68%. I also thought in goal setting, we should set realistic goal.
