What quality training do you suggest?

Wow, that's great! Congrats!! Honestly as someone who stepped into a quality role with no formal training and VERY minimal experience (by experience I mean I worked at a big biotech company as a tech right out of college making an implantable protein product so I absorbed a lot of quality concepts without realizing it) two years ago, I can say that I have learned enough to sometimes not sound like and idiot and even sometimes sound like a true quality professional just by reading through these discussions. It won't get you a certification to hang your hat on but it's a profound education. Try to find some time and keep reading!!

If you want to be humble and the company is small, start with "Quality Lead" or "QAQC Lead" and be the appointed "Management Representative" for QMS. If there are other managers (e.g. production manager, sales manager, etc.) around, go for "Quality Manager".

Next course recommended is CQE.
