Michelle,
Mostly, an SOP contains the purpose (what you want to achieve) of the document, scope (inclusion & exclusion), responsibilities (who is responsible for what), procedure (how it is used), reference and document history. So this is the basic of any SOP.
I will include the following -
- Method of cleaning before and after use;
- Gowing procedure and protective gear applicable to use LAF;
- Any test you may be doing before using the LAF;
- Acceptance limit for use etc.
Additionally, I believe, method of calibration can be included briefly and cross-reference to calibration schedule and procedure rather in this SOP, but if it suits your system then go for it.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Romit
