2. GE's internal guide on ?manufacturing producibility handbook"?

What kind of products are you interested in?

What manufacturing processes are used (or are being evaluated) to make the products?

DFM can vary quite a bit by industry and manufactuing process.

While books have the highest position in being the bank of knowledge, I will recommend a good and thorough design review with several manufacturing personnel / several service personnel to bring out all possible knowledge and experience to the forefront to consider manufacturability in designs.
