Hello all,
For our warehouse management system (wms), we have a main procedure ("Inventory Control" for example) which is basically a Viso work flow diagram that references the relevant Work Instructions in each step of the workflow. The Procedure also has a change history for all the supporting Work Instructions. We made a minor change to a one page work instruction (and assigned a new revision number and rev date to the WI). We logged the change to the WI in the Change History section of the Procedure.
Question: Does this constitute a change to the Procedure? Nothing else in the procedure changed except for the addition of the Change History comment referring to the WI that was changed.
I would like the change histories to be logged within the WI's, to cut down on the changes that need to be made to the Procedure(s).
Thank you for you help and opinions. Ken
