Hello everyone,

I haven't posted for awhile and I think this is the thread that I need to ask this question.
I have the Quality Policy controlled in our system however I do not have an actual signature by our president on the Quality Policy Statement itself. I do have a sign-off review sheet by the president that shows he approved the document. Will that be enough or will an auditor expect to see an actual signature on the Quality Policy?

Signatures are not required.

Approval is required but you do need evidence of approval.

Evidence of approval need not be a signature. It could be the document's issue status if so authorized by your document coding scheme.

Does anyone have a project plan/scoping plan for implementation? Ive been pulled back onto the ISO task as it was more important than climate change and CRC :)

Actually starting is simple:
1-Define all departments
2-For each department write down all the steps of the main proces and who is responsible at decision points. Find out how these decisions are registered.
3-Put up a drawing of how these departments are connected.
4-find out what secondary processes are in place: administration, HRM, etc. and do the same thing for these processes.
5-Find out where and what is going wrong during production and where this is being registered. Analyse this and have management decide what actions should follw.
6-check with ISO 9001.
