Which organisation best embodies a 'Quality Approach'?

Something a little different (I hope...) from the normal Elsmar posts - which organisation, as far as you're concerned, best embodies a 'quality approach'? It can be any size or venture really - from multi-nationals to local one-man bands to someone you've encountered via a hobby or such like (it certainly doesn't have to be purely business related). And what are the reasons behind your selection - does the organisation, in your eyes, represent what would be your Utopian vision of quality? Or have they gone that extra yard to do something you really appreciated? Or do they simply approach everything they do in the right manner?

And I've just realised that I've typed the above without having one stand-out example of my own! I'll get my thinking cap on but will be genuinely interested in your thoughts in the meantime.

Regards,

Mick

Let me offer the first choice:
In the original post I should have added that this goes without saying Sidney! :agree1:

Ok - so now Sidney has played the real ace in the pack, what else?!

And am I messing something up Jennifer or are both your links to the same piece?

Without hesitation I say 'TOYOTA' tops the list. There is no match to their commited approach to quality. They are the bench mark.

"Best embodies a Quality Approach"?

As compared to what?

What's the benchmark?

This is like saying my dog is uglier than your dog without having anything to compare them both to.

Friends,

I was really impressed with Apple...until the iPhone antenna flap and the iPad overheating problem.

Disclaimer: I do not own Apple products...

What remains is my Lexus dealership and service department.
