Since the standard requires that Top Management be responsible for the QMS, they need to be more involved than it sounds like they are.

Yes - many companies have been through the process but please share with us what you think is an area of concern.

Your statements are wide open for interpretation and a lot of information that you might not need or have use for.

Just out of interest, I was speaking with someone from a major CB this week who tells me that less than 10% of their registered companies have made the transition so far.

I see another 2003 scenario when huge amounts of registered companies were scrambling to get thier updated system audited and there were scarcely enough auditors to go round.

Yes! This is consistent with what I heard in Dec 2016. If organizations ae not transitioning at a faster pace this year, we certainly have a 2003 scenario next year.

This is all on the heads of the short sighted administrators of the program. Those that don't learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. In this case, those doomed to repeat it are US and not so much them.

Even a little common sense would have helped. That is, don't start the countdown until there was a opportunity for the participants (at all levels) to have seen the final and to have prepared training and a transition plan.

This is a classic case of a perfect storm or perhaps better, SNAFU.
