Why a CQE certification? Who should become an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer?

First, why CQE? who should become CQE? Does anybody who had passed CQE exam give some suggestions about how to prepare the exam?

Is this book The Quality Engineering Handbook by Thomas Pyzdek good for preparing the test?
