Has anyone had experience with a Work Well Audit for Occupational Health and Safety? I was looking for questions to ask employee's during the audit and what to look for in the audit for starters. Thanks.
You can download the entire checklist from the IAPA or MOL website. The questions asked follow that checklist VERY strictly. Think the way the 1994 version of ISO 9001 was audited - it is pretty much the same process.
We were able to avoid the workwell audit but we did design our entire H&S program to meet the WorkWell requirements.
Thanks. The Work Well Audit Checkilist I have is more directed at the Element, Guidelines, Purpose and Score as labelled headings. Would this be what a referring to? Is there a question based checklist to go with this?
There should be a column with "requirements". Then rephrase each and every one of the requirements for the element into a question. If you answer yes - move on if not change your documentation to meet the requirement. My advice, concentrate on the elements that give you the most points. You likely have limited time and need to get the most points possible.
If you don't know - the scoring is all or nothing. If you miss just one requirement - you get 0 for the element.
