Would compliance with ISO/TS 16949:2009 mean also compliance with ISO 9001:2015?

My company are ISO9001:2008 certified.
We are heading towards TS16949.

Now, I understand, that if you are certified to TS16949:2009 you are automatically awarded ISO9001:2008, but..........
Will having TS16949:2009 automatically give you ISO9001:2015 when it comes out, or will you only receive ISO9001:2008?

That is a good question!

The requirements of TS 16949:2009 and ISO 9001:2015 will not match when the new 9001 standard gets issued. If you are certified to TS the requirements within that standard apply (the old 9001). If you want to additionally certify to ISO 9001:2015 you would need to conform to its requirements in addition to those in ISO 9001:2008.

There is another thread regarding alignment: Will ISO/TS16949 be aligned to ISO9001:2015 in the future?

I did a word search for "2015" in AIAG's web site and didn't come up with an anything specific enough to help.
