Your advises for starting this 13485 field

[Biomaterials]

Hi guys,

I am Master of material science and biomaterials and I am so interested in ISO 13485 management and related subjects as well, but as I am new and I want to start to enter to this market,is there any advises for me that it could help/lead me better to decide about it?
I need some visions that really this field can make money for me?I am so intelligent and no worries about learning related topics,but how long does take for wa nong good in quality management filed according to ISO 13485.
I am zero in this area and I have gotten a job offer about it,but I am not sure that this field could be a good field as a long time job for me?or after some times or years I will found that I have gone in wrong way?
I am Master and expert in nondestructive examination in not only industry according to my bachelor and Master,but also in biomaterials.

Nowadays I am searching to switch my last experience to new market as I can,but really I don't know this quality management in medical environment could be a good chance/challenge for me or not?
On the other side I don't want to give this job offer up.
And from the company am requested for giving a yearly salary expectation from my side,that really I don't have any idea about it.if someone has any vision or idea about my situation,it will be appreciate to share with me,that it could help me more than you imagine.

Quality management is a lot about people's skills. Are you a people-person? Will you be able to get people to cooperate, to join a change where needed (sometimes change is painful)? Are you good at negotiating and convincing? Yes, there is a technical / systems / procedural side to it, but in my opinion the people side is what makes or breaks you in this field. A lot of brilliant engineers / scientists just don't have the people skills it takes (in a way, I am one of them haha).

Salary expectation should be very country-dependent. Where is the job offer?

Thanks for your feedback,I am auditor of specifications and for standardization,in this view I have no Problem for convincing or negotiating of customer side.
Yes,Ii am private and a company in Germany want to employ me as quality management.
