I am an engineering college student working on a Clinic project for a company who needs to pass QS9000. (Krupp Hoesch Suspensions) Where can I find the specific information needed concerning QS9000. Any help would be most apprecitated.

Well, this has been asked before, so I'd search the older topics first. However, I am assuming that you already have the QS9K standard itself. If you do, then there are several references that can help you with impelementation. (Look at the ASQ book catalog.) Having said that, though, I'd first search this forum and then look at other sources.

If you can't find the info you need on this web site you're not in college 'cause you caint reed... I wish I had such resources as this site and the WorlWideWeb when I was in college in the 1970's. Please don't take this as a 'flame' - it is not meant as such, but none of us can explain it all in a forum thread. Read thru the site top to bottom. Read the forums. I used to have to go to the library and such. You can do it sitting at home on your computer!

Marc,
Exactly what I was going to say. My employer hired consultants before they hired me. I could have saved them a few bucks if they would have hired me first. This forum trained me on QS. I never saw the manuals until I took that job. I could not have done it without this forum.

I can attest to that. I accidentally discovered this forum just last month and the informations contained here are invaluable. Not to mention the interaction with people who really knows the stuff. Mitch, you can find all stuff in here, with just a click of your right forefinger.

Me too. I've used this forum for the last 2 years. It's the best source of information available. I can't imagine doing this job without it. Or I guess I could rely on the AIAG... . LOL

In support of the original post..it must be difficult to relate the information with no experience in industry to draw from.

However, the info IS here, and available to you...with feedback and discussion, you just need to open your mind, pick an industry you are familiar with to apply what you read....if you don't try to apply it, it's just words.....thats the problem with 'book learning' you need the practical along with the theory to get any value out of it.
