I ask this because some FORD people from a specific department told our production manager that this was a requirement. Personally I was not aware of this , I did not find anything about it in QS9000 but I wanted to make sure that I was correct by telling these people that I had no intention of making a separate inspection area. We supply Ford and other auto firms and are QS9000 registered. It sounds to me the guys at Ford to whom you refer have definitely got the wrong end of the stick
