I've been real busy with site changes but I have pulled out my qs manual. I'll answer tomorrow morning. It;'s 3 am and I still have about an hour of work to do on this. I am very sorry to delay - unusual circumstances. IP: Logged |

Let me see here. > ...what are the relation with the 4.1.3,4.1.4,4.1.5 and 4.1.6? They are all in 4.1 because they are all management responsibilitites is the best I can say. You have Management Review, the Business Plan, Analysis and Use of Company Level Data and Customer Satisfaction. > I think 4.1.6 can support 4.1.3 and 4.1.4. we collect the data of other 4.1.5 Analysis and Use of Company Level Data just says you will use more than inspection and test data for decision making. Your business plan may change based upon this type of data. This type of data may include Customer Satisfaction data if you come up with a scalable metric. And Company Level Data would be source of discussions in Management review. My question to you before we go further -- what do you define as 'Company Level data' in your company? From what you list and say above it looks like you're on the right track. > 4.1.3 used for reviewing the quality policy 4.1.3 Management Review is for much more than simply reviewing the quality policy. There's a management review matrix sample in the pdf_files directory for some detailed info. It's for ISO but QS requires those as well as a minimum. What all do you currently cover in your management review meetings? > and 4.1.4 business plan used for... The business plan is another story. If you cannot describe what it is used for you have a long way to go. I think you're reading too much into all this. OK - now - questions? Marc, 1.>what do you define as 'Company Level data' in your company? we get data such as ppm of delivery,FTQ of our process, customer cpmplaints number, rate of on time delivery and turnout of stock... >Company Level Data would be source of discussions in Management review. such data can be used for Management review, businessplan review,... anything for continous improvement, right? 2.>What all do you currently cover in your customer satifaction,on time delivery, stock,PPM of delivery to customer,FTQ, quality cost, scrap rate, training and safety. 3.>The business plan is another story all of 2 also are included in business plan and it seems we do the same or similar things twice.only difference is we care about money when review the business plan.could you show me the mian idea? actually, the main idea or an example how to meet the requirements of 4.1.3,4.1.4,4.1.5 and 4.1.6 would be helpful to me. thanks for your futher comments in advance.
